Sagiper USA Inc is the independent Sales & Distribution division of Sagiper Siding, Soffit, Interior Ceiling and wall products in North America. Due to our rapid growth we are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Warehouse Coordinator.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the timely movement of goods in and out of the Sagiper distribution center, keeping accurate records of inventory, and prepare customer sample requests.
Job Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the least expensive and most efficient method of shipping customer orders and samples.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Offload/load containers.
- Pack materials to be shipped and attach packing slips.
- Direct delivery trucks and help drivers unload/load goods.
- Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy.
- Record shipped and received goods in logbooks.
- Unpack received goods into appropriate storage areas.
- Cut down, clean, prepare and package product samples for architecture kits and customer sample requests.
- Call customers and carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery.
- Maintain safe working conditions in the warehouse, keep sample area stocked and related areas clean.
- Build custom pallets for material being shipped.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Highschool diploma/GED required.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar warehouse environment considered an asset.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
- First Aid training and WHMIS knowledge would be an asset.
- Possesses good organizational skills and punctual.
- Has a courteous helpful attitude and can work well with others.
- Can multi-task and prioritize.
Physical Requirements
- Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods up to 50lbs unassisted and up to 100lbs or more assisted.
- Required to stand, sit, walk, bend and kneel.
- Must have manual dexterity and be able to reach and handle tools, objects and controls.
Pay and Benefits
- Compensation: $17/hour
· Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (40 hours/week)
- Overtime 1.5x hourly rate
- Bonus Pay
- Benefits after 3-month probationary period
- 2 weeks paid vacation
