Role Overview:
Sagitec is seeking a skilled IT Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vulnerability management, system administration, incident response, and application security. As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's assets and maintaining the integrity of our systems and applications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Configure and maintain security-related software such as anti-malware software, host intrusion prevention systems, and data loss prevention tools.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, analyzing security data and logs for anomalies.
- Provide support for security tools and technologies, ensuring their effective operation.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans of corporate and client networks, systems, and applications using vulnerability assessment tools.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest vulnerabilities and exploits by monitoring threat intelligence sources.
- Collaborate with other members of the security team to improve the overall security posture of the organization.
- Analyze and triage security alerts to determine their significance and potential impact.
- Conduct initial investigations of security incidents to determine the scope and impact.
- Collaborate with other members of the security team, such as Security Engineers, to contain and remediate security incidents.
- Ensure that incident response procedures are followed and properly documented.
- Participate in incident response exercises and tabletop simulations to improve incident response preparedness.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement in incident response processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest threats and attack vectors through threat intelligence sources.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from other teams within the organization for security-related investigations.
- Conduct security assessments of web applications and mobile applications, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Conduct research on the latest threats and attack vectors targeting applications.
What We’re Looking For:
- 0-2 years’ experience in IT Security.
- CND, CEH, Linux , Network certifications.
- Working knowledge and experience in a variety of toolset such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint solutions, vulnerability management, DLP, cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP), and incident response.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in a technical or cybersecurity-related role.
