Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the cash register or OpenTable system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server role, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with patrons.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
