Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Licensed Electrician who is self-driven, motivated, and interested in a career in the solar and electric vehicle charging industry. This role will focus on the installation, maintenance, and optimization of solar electric systems and EV chargers for a wide range of manufacturers including Rivian, Lucid, GM, Ford Lightning, and Tesla Cyber Trucks, to name a few. Training and certification across our product lines will be provided, giving you the tools and knowledge needed to excel.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including panels, inverters, wiring, and other electrical components for commercial and residential settings.
- Ensure all electrical work performed is up to code and complies with state and local regulations.
- Work collaboratively with project managers and installation teams to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshooting, providing recommendations for system improvements or repairs.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Keep detailed records of all installations, services, and repair work
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Electrician License or Equivalent, or,
- Ability to take and pass Georgia State electrical contractor license.
- Proven experience in the electrical field, with a strong preference for candidates with solar PV installation and maintenance experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as part of the pre-employment process.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
