Position Overview:
We are seeking a Solar Energy Sales Advisor who is not just a seller but a trusted consultant and community ambassador for our brand. This is a unique opportunity for someone ambitious, self-disciplined, highly competitive, and eager to build long-term relationships in the growing renewable energy and roofing spaces. This will be an in-office position in Tucson.
In this role, you will serve as an expert advisor, educating potential customers on the benefits of solar energy, battery storage, roofing, and EV charging solutions. You will network and engage with local communities to foster relationships and trust, positioning yourself as a go-to resource for sustainable energy solutions. This role requires a blend of sales prowess, customer-focused service, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Generate new business opportunities by identifying, prospecting, and converting leads into sales for residential and commercial solar, battery storage, roofing, and EV charging solutions. The role has a self-generation component and minimum sales quota.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Build rapport with potential customers by understanding their unique needs and providing tailored energy solutions that meet their requirements and budgets.
- Community Networking: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor in your local community. Attend local events, build relationships with homeowners, business owners, and other stakeholders, and become the go-to resource for renewable energy solutions.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond. Offer ongoing support and advice to ensure continued satisfaction and referrals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project management and installation teams to ensure seamless transitions from the sales process to installation and service.
- Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product offerings, local incentives, and relevant regulations to provide customers with accurate, timely information.
- Personal Growth & Development: Dedicate yourself to ongoing learning and improvement within the renewable energy sector and sales methodology.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A proven track record in sales ( Solar, Roofing, HVAC, Auto Sales, or related industries) is desired. Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales is preferred.
- Passion for Renewable Energy: Strong interest in and commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions, with a deep understanding of the value of solar energy, battery storage, and related technologies. If you have the passion, we can train you in learning renewable energy.
- Self-motivated & Driven: Highly ambitious and self-disciplined, able to work independently. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and positively influence the company’s culture.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences.
- Networking Savvy: Comfortable engaging with community stakeholders, including residential customers, businesses, contractors, and local influencers.
