Home Health Aide

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help clients with mobility and transferring to ensure their safety.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's health status.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Administer basic medical care, including CPR and catheter care as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding client needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or assisted living settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR techniques and the ability to perform them when necessary.
• Familiarity with catheter care procedures is a plus.
• Understanding of senior care practices and the ability to assist clients with various health conditions.
• Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare providers.
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans and protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.33 - $14.55 per hour
