Monitor daily department operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and cleanliness.
Assist customers with orders, special requests, and product recommendations.
Achieve sales goals, maintain budgetary controls, and reduce waste while maximizing department profitability.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli department, ensuring all products are properly labeled and priced.
Work closely with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues regarding product quality or pricing.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in retail or food service management, ideally in a deli or grocery setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of perishable products.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
