We are a new-ish, privately-owned, full-service veterinary hospital in beautiful Sammamish, WA. We have a full in-house laboratory, advanced surgical and dental suite, full body and dental x-ray systems, top of the line ultrasound machine, and the most advanced class IV therapy laser on the market! We also perform unique services such as in-house ultrasounds and TPLOs. We pride ourselves in practicing gold standard medicine using the most advanced tools on the market.
We are seeking a positive, experienced, full-time or part-time licensed veterinary technician to join our growing team. We are a group of highly-skilled individuals who encourage teammates to continue learning and growing in a positive, supportive environment. Morale at our practice is high and we have fun at work and occasionally outside of work. Our first and most important rule is that both team members and clients must treat each other respectfully. Thus, we expect our staff members to be kind to their colleagues and clients, and our clients are expected to do the same to our staff members.
We strive to put the health and comfort of our patients at the forefront of our practice by implementing Fear Free techniques. The ideal candidate must have previous veterinary experience, excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, be self-starters, and team players. You will provide the technical, nursing, and customer service skills required for the practice of quality medicine and superior patient and client care. Responsibilities include interacting with clients in a warm and professional manner to help educate and inform, learning and practicing low-stress and Fear Free patient handling techniques, lab sample collection and processing, maintaining records, housekeeping, etc.
Pay is competitive and dependent on experience. We are offering a signing bonus for the right candidate.
