About you
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operations Professional with tactical and technical competence. We need someone who understands the complexity that comes with running a security business. The ideal candidate will bring flexibility, passion for the mission, and extensive experience in physical security. Preference will be given to veterans and prior law enforcement professionals.
Sahara Global Security Guard Duties (General Description):
Key Responsibilities
- Senior Leadership: Lead all physical security operations and ensure company policies are upheld.
- Guidance & Oversight: Provide support to Account Managers and oversee day-to-day post operations.
- Communication Management: Monitor all communication channels, including Signal, Radio, Email, and Phone Lines.
- Situational Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Officer, Site, and Asset locations and missions.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Officer Support: Conduct Armed Officer Meet & Greets, home inspections, and training audits.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage weekly schedules for your market.
- Post Orders: Create and update Post Orders for all market locations.
- Hands-On Leadership: Work physical posts as required (minimum hours negotiable).
- Fleet Oversight: Track all vehicle maintenance logs and registrations.
- Uniform & Equipment Management: Handle requests, inventory, and distribution.
- Disciplinary Oversight: Address performance issues and enforce company standards.
- Client Relations: Act as the first point of contact for market clients, handle complaints, solicit reviews, and schedule regular meetings.
Qualifications
- Security: 5 years (Required)
- Law enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)
- Military: 4 years (Preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Associates or Bachelors in a related field (Preferred)
- 20-Hour OPOTA Firearms Certificate (Required)
- Please note that applicants are responsible for supplying their own duty equipment and MUST have a valid OPOTA certificate at time of hire. (Plate Carriers, Duty Weapons, Technology)
