What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Attendant position at Sahara Las Vegas?
Responsible for providing a fun, friendly, efficient service and sophisticated experience for our guests. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Focus is on, but not limited to the following :
Greeting guests, answering questions and being an informational resource regarding guest inquiries regarding rooms, restaurants and entertainment
Marketing and recruiting new guests to property and establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with repeat guests
Monitoring assigned area and attending to and anticipating guest's needs; including jackpot payments, personalizing providing a comfortable, fun, experience for guests
Accurately maintain a Cash Pouch involving Company funds
Complies with all Gaming guidelines and signatory controls
May perform duties that include : reviewing bill validator jams and TITO paper fills
Other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
At least three (3) years of Slot Operations experience
Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English with guests, fellow employees, and management
Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward guests as well as other employees
Previous experience in a high-end luxury Gaming or Hospitality environment is desired
Working knowledge of basic computer systems and Casino systems
Proven ability to resolve guest conflicts in a positive and professional manner making decisions in the best interests of our guests and the company
Strong organizational skills and able to multi-task with ease
Ability to handle and cope with stress well and remain calm under pressure
Protect the confidentiality of Company documents and files under immediate control
Keep up to date on Slot Marketing activities and events at the property
Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
