This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our medical office, including managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records. The Bilingual Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, demonstrating a warm and welcoming demeanor while efficiently handling administrative tasks.

Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information regarding services.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients while managing the calendar effectively.
- Perform medical administrative support tasks including documentation review and insurance verification.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations, ensuring accuracy in medical coding and documentation.
- Assist with the management of medical office systems, including eClinicalWorks for electronic health records.
- Handle medical scheduling efficiently to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Familiarize yourself with medical terminology to assist patients effectively when needed.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care.

Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred, with knowledge of medical administrative support functions.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices and insurance verification processes is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation management.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly ECW or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
