TITLE: SECURITY GUARD - Walden Grove High School
WORK SCHEDULE: 10 month
SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Support Staff Salary Schedule – Group C
- $15.25
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide a safe and secure environment for students and staff
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures that all buildings are secured after hours;
- Locks entrance and exit gates;
- Checks all buses, vans and cars;
- Patrols grounds and reports any safety concerns noted, on a daily basis:
- Reports any trespassers and vandalism;
- Checks well readings, if required;
- Reports water line breakages;
- Reports all mechanical equipment problems;
- Assists with opening and closing of buildings for functions;
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A. REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- No experience required;
- Ability to communicate and work well with staff, students and the public;
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s licence.
