Building Maintenance Worker
Location: Jackson, TN (Onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team in Jackson, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC repairs. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
Minimum three (3) years of skilled labor and trade experience
Preferred certification in electrical or plumbing
Valid Driver’s License (required)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry tasks for building construction and maintenance
Install and repair electrical outlets, circuits, switches, fans, and lighting fixtures
Install and repair plumbing fixtures, water and drainage lines
Paint and decorate building interiors and exteriors
Maintain and repair laundry, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning units
Use various hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, pipe cutters, welding torches)
Follow safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assist with groundskeeping and custodial duties as needed
Maintain records of work completed, materials used, and time expended
Provide training and guidance to other staff if necessary
Additional Requirements:
The selected candidate must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.
Background checks will be conducted through TBI, FBI, DCS, TN Registry of Sexual Offenders, and TN Registry of Abuse.
