Position Summary
Assists with the computer-related needs of end-users, including installations, repairs, and troubleshooting. Resolves technical issues through software and hardware maintenance.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to end-users with computer-related issues.
- Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software malfunctions for end-users.
- Responds to computer inquiries and offers guidance on proper computer handling.
- Researches and develops standard practices for installing, implementing, and configuring client computing in an enterprise network.
- Participates in planning and implementing hardware and software system installations and upgrades.
- Collaborates with vendors to resolve computer equipment failures and issues.
- Handles technical requests effectively to maintain service standards.
- Assists in the deployment of hardware to terminals.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of technical support experience.
- Proficiency in computer hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting and technical support skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Pay Rate: $23.82 - $27.57 per hour, based on experience
