Description
SAIC is seeking an Aerospace Electronics Technician to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Provide test and evaluation, troubleshooting, lot acceptance, qualification, engineering analysis, documentation, procedure / process creation, shipment / receipt and vendor coordination of aircraft system NiZn and NiCad cells / batteries.
- Provide test and evaluation of various battery chemistries, including Li-ion, Lithium Iron Disulfide, Lithium Calcium and Lead Acid.
- Support battery testing that will consist of testing temperature / humidity cycling, pressure / altitude, acceleration, vibration, and mechanical shock.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE :
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy : SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
