Description
SAIC’s Space & Intel Business Group, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking an Applications Developer to perform Agile based Operations & Maintenance (O&M), for a Tasking Portal housed in a Cloud environment. This position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS / SCI clearance with Polygraph.
The Customer supported serves as the focal point for coordinating, planning, developing, supporting, and executing cyber research and tasking. The tasking portal allows for end users to input requests and specific data for data collection.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Perform day to day tasks such as bug fixes and enhancement releases.
- Gather and assist in the preparation of requirements based on customer needs.
- Analyze requirements and translate them to both user stories and development tasks.
- Prepare documentation such as program, user, and security documentation.
- Develop and maintain software applications, including web applications and user interfaces.
- Develop in a cloud environment.
- Enhance software to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Agile methodology from inception through integration and deployment.
Supporting production systems and assisting customers with timely issue resolution.
Gathering and identifying technical requirements.
Developing JavaScript web services using Node.js, to include ExpressJS applications and Micro Services.
Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, Spring Model View Controller (MVC), and Spring Boot.
Developing Java-based APIs.
Front-End UI / UX JavaScript UI framework(s) such as Angular, React, or Vue.
Desired Skills :
Establishing data, performance, and communications objectives for prototype systems.
Understanding the Sponsor’s Cloud environment.
Understanding the Sponsor’s data architecture.
Understanding the Sponsor’s application environment.
Back-End SecDevOps principles and CI / CD pipelines.
Back-End Container technologies such as Docker.
Front-End UX design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy : SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
