Description
SAIC is looking for a Battery Test Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support test and evaluation activities for primary missile batteries.
- Review pertinent governing documents and coordinate primary battery testing in accordance with established, approved procedures and plans.
- Identify necessary circuit configurations to meet governing requirements.
- Analyze, summarize and document test results in the form of a technical report as required. This includes conducting statistical analysis (linear regression, bayesian analysis, normality tests, etc.) on data obtained for testing to support useful life assessments for missile batteries.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and three (3) or more years of related experience, including battery development and testing.
- Interim Secret Clearance will be required to start with ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Thermal Battery Design to be able to replicate or reverse engineer batteries
- Supply Chain Resiliency experience
- MIL-STD-1512 familiarity
- Cameo, Sysmil, MBSE, and FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
