Description
SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced CAD - Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis.
Note : Hybrid work option available.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting principles and extensive experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software. This individual will play a key role in converting conceptual designs into technical data packages including models, drawings and additive manufacturing files that meet the DoD and industrial standards.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS :
- Associate's degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in drafting and CAD.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Skillful at drawing detail.
- Proficient at GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to collaborate closely with other team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT :
