Description
SAIC has an immediate need for a Configuration Management Specialist in support of the Precision Fires Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Program at the AMRDEC Systems Simulation, Software and Integration Directorate (S3I) located in Huntsville, AL.
Duties will include:
- Performing configuration management activities per the CM policies and procedures.
- Performing configuration activities utilizing the CM tool Dimensions, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps. CM may include configuration identification, configuration status accounting, and configuration control.
- Preparation, submission, and receipt of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to and from customers; preparation of drawing/document trees; facilitation of peer reviews and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS Degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
- Configuration management experience throughout the full software lifecycle from analysis to verification
- Proficient with the use of standard Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience performing CM tasks for hardware and software projects
- Candidate must be proactive, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be well organized, be an effective "team player," and have the ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience with a Product LifeCycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tool, preferably Dimensions, SP, and ADO
Clearance Requirement:
- An Interim Secret Clearance must be obtained prior to employment, a Secret Clearance must be obtained to maintain employment.
