Job Description
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for the RJTI program, ensuring compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity policies and regulations
- Conduct system categorization, security control selection, implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring activities
- Develop and maintain RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
- Perform security control assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and provide recommendations for improvement
- Utilize the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to manage RMF processes and documentation
- Collaborate with system owners, information system security officers (ISSOs), and other stakeholders to ensure systems are secure and compliant
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to address identified security weaknesses
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, and support incident response activities as needed
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s and five (5) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, preferably within a military or defense environment
- Strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and relevant DoD and federal cybersecurity regulations
- Proficiency using the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for managing RMF processes and documentation
- Familiarity with RMF documentation requirements, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
- Experience with security control assessments and vulnerability assessments
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and network security
- Must be able to obtain a Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%
- Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Must be a current US Citizen
