Description
SAIC is seeking a top-notch Facilities Cost Estimator to join our talented team. This role requires an active TS / SCI clearance with Polygraph and is locat4ed in Aurora, CO . This position is responsible for providing cost estimating expertise for the client's global facilities portfolio.
As the program Cost Estimator, you will provide both design and construction cost estimates as well work with the Project Managers around the world and the client on improving the cost estimating process across the program.
Cost estimator responsibilities include :
- Coordinate with the Project Mangers to ensure all projects receive an independent cost estimate and any gaps are corrected, understood, and documented.
- Determine the best method for providing the cost estimates.
- Provide recommendations on acquisition strategy and project execution if they would improve cost.
- Review and provide comments on project documentation (SOWs, design drawings, etc.) to ensure the client receives the best product possible.
- Identify areas of improvement and move to correct them.
Qualifications
Note : Related professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Desired Qualifications :
Target salary range : $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
