The selected candidate will play a crucial role in budget planning, and support for financial reporting, data calls, and cost model management to ensure financial efficiency and program success.
NOTE This is a hybrid position with approximately 4 days per week in office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Help develop and manage budgets for the NSWC Crane Mach-TB program, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare detailed reports to support budget planning and decision-making processes.
- Respond to financial data calls promptly and accurately, providing necessary financial information to stakeholders.
- Manage and update cost models, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the program’s financial objectives.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial strategies and objectives are well communicated and integrated into overall program planning.
- Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budget planning, and cost model management.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, or similar financial management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- US Citizen
- Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
