We are seeking a strategic, organized, and proactive Information Technology (IT) subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader with expertise in technical areas, specializing in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Geospatial solutions, and associated platforms and tools. As the IT SME, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and will advise the Government Program Manager (PM) regarding technical questions and issues that may arise from the various systems the PM is overseeing.
Your responsibilities will include the following :
- Providing technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining, and visualizing software architecture to include data.
- Providing technical documentation to support the architecture of the portfolio of projects to include Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
- Serving as a technical liaison with regard to system architecture that focuses on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security.
- Collaborating with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, assess applications, develop transition plans, and develop business cases in support of Cloud and other initiatives.
- Providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and providing implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
- Assisting the customer with technical oversight of the Service Provider(s) for the portfolio of projects.
- Providing technical leadership for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology.
- Interacting with the Government regarding systems engineering IT technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
- Facilitating metrics across the IC community.
