Description
SAIC is seeking a Network Administrator located in Apra Harbor, Guam to support the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) to support the development and maintenance of network and computer systems in support of PMTEC initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Support the execution and day-to-day security and network management of the PMTEC Forward facility in Guam
- Provide Information Technology expertise to assists in development of strategic Operations, Activities, and Investments in support of the Geographic Combatant Command PMTEC Plan
- Support the development of network and computer system designs in support of PMTEC initiatives
- Assists in the development of products that articulate Second Island Chain contributions to the PMTEC program
- Assist in the de-confliction and coordination of PMTEC equities across the Second Island Chain
- Contribute to the development of new concepts and investments to further link ranges and training areas across the Indo-Pacific AOR
- Develop briefings and assessments to a variety of audiences and convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership
- Provide for PMTEC Forward - Guam facility management and usage by Joint and Coalition warfighters; coordinates for building maintenance; tracks new building projects
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and five (5) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience with military networks or systems
- Experience working with routers, switches firewalls, servers, crypto equipment, and associated software applications
- Experience with US military operations and training activities
- Familiar with the INDOPACOM Area of Operations and Joint Exercises
- Preferred DoD (uniform, civilian or contractor) Background such as Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, Mid-level Warrant Officer or Mid-level Commissioned Officer experience
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
