SAIC is seeking a Mid-level Enterprise Scheduler with experience in building, maintaining, and analyzing integrated capability schedules to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team in El Segundo, California.
PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Scheduling Team, you’ll work with Government personnel and systems engineers to track progress on critical events supporting PNT capability delivery. The Global Positioning System (GPS) provides accurate, real-time positioning and navigation for a variety of users, including military, civil, and commercial users around the world. Duties
- Integration of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) schedule into our PNT Enterprise Master Schedule (EMS) - a product linking multiple schedule products, an Enterprise Integrated Master Plan (EIMP), and a database of Giver/Receiver dependencies
- Track and report progress on the accomplishment of schedule events through capability delivery. Identify and evaluate critical program milestones from contractor integrated master schedules and cross program deliveries
- Assist team to develop and maintain weekly and monthly status reports to keep management informed on project progress. Present master schedule data and reports (critical path, schedule risks, and impacts) to program office leadership, including analysis of primary/secondary critical paths and margin
- Identification and management of key schedule dependencies between GPS segments, development contractors, and external stakeholders
- Assist in development of web-based reporting tools and related processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Science or Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of related experience with space systems or technical industry (or Master’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Science or Engineering or related field with at least 1 years of related experience with space systems or technical industry)
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Proven proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
- Fundamental knowledge of common schedule analysis techniques, methods and off-the-shelf tools
- Comfortable interacting with government stakeholders and team members
- 2 years experience working directly with Government Program Offices to provide schedule deliverables
- Active DoD Security Clearance
- Experience with developing and planning test schedules for large defense-related systems
- Ability to use advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with Chronicle Graphics OnePager Pro, Barbecana Full Monte software
