SAIC is looking for an experienced Senior Strategy Advisor with at least 10 years of expertise in strategic planning and foresight, policy development, and organizational transformation within the federal science and technology environment. The incumbent should have a proven track record of driving efficiency, fostering innovation, and achieving mission-critical objectives through strategic alignment. The incumbent should also be adept at stakeholder engagements, performing data-driven analysis and recommendations, and leading cross-functional teams. This position is within DHS, Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), Office of Innovation and Collaboration (OIC).

Description

Job Duties:
- Support the development and execution of I&C priorities, goals, and objectives.
- Provide recommendations for strategic changes that lead to increased efficiency.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to shape OIC's long-term strategic direction.
- Utilize data analytics, simulations, and forecasting techniques to inform strategic decisions, drive operational efficiency, and anticipate potential policy and operational challenges.
- Support and advise to enhance the effectiveness and impact of division-level programs for S&T, DHS, and the Homeland Security Enterprise.
- Collaborate with S&T key partners to ensure strategic alignment, where applicable.
- Support the OIC Front Office in the development of impact assessments and metrics development, including development of requirements and mission analyses.
- Conduct and/or lead special studies and analyses in support of the OIC Front Office.
- Develop appropriate reports, presentations, and white papers in support of strategic engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform strategic analyses in support development in policy, plans, schedules, and milestones for OIC Front Office.
- Collaborate with OIC Senior Communications personnel to ensure all communication products are developed utilizing targeted strategies.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (4 years experience in lieu of degree).
- Able to obtain and maintain Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship before starting.
- 9 years with business strategy development and operational planning.
- Experience performing strategic planning or strategic foresight efforts in the public or private sector.
- Experience performing program assessments and developing program metrics that align with strategic objectives and goals.
- BA/BS 7 Years, Master's 4 years, or PhD 2 years of relevant experience as stated above.
- Experience working with senior leaders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance; preference towards already cleared persons.
