Description
SAIC is seeking a Navy Installation Field Technician to join and support our team in San Diego, CA, must be local to area .
This role does require sporadic travel up to 25% of the time
JOB DUTIES :
- Motivated individuals wanted for the installation of electronic and support equipment aboard U.S. Naval, Coast Guard, and MSC Vessels.
- Will be required to work independently, as part of a team, or as a team leader to perform installation tasks demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to identify and resolve installation issues.
- Tasked with reading, interpreting, and working from technical data, test procedures, arrangement and block wiring diagrams.
- Written and verbal communication skills must be strong enough to effectively communicate with co-workers, managers and customers.
- Additional work includes redlining and / or maintaining documentation such as engineering drawings and conducting on-site installation troubleshooting.

Target salary range : $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy : SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
