Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research, author, and coordinate space threat assessments fusing diverse sources of threat information
- Assis SSDP TAD in the characterization of the red/Blue factors threats environment to enhance existing and future defensive capabilities related to space protection
- Produce high-quality reports and communications for dissemination of findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Apply knowledge of networks/technology and experience with customer tools and databases to identify, extract, and analyze pertinent information and provide technical analysis to address intelligence gaps
- Conduct a variety of analytical methodologies to support predominantly technical issues to include network analysis, link/relationship discovery analysis, temporal analysis, and other quantitative methods
- Apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts and contribute to the developed of new principles and concepts
- Provide fused intelligence analysis to inform current space threat environment and support the development of future counterspace strategies
Full-time onsite support
- Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI Must be willing to take a Poly.
- years of experience with all source intelligence analysis
- three years relevant experience with the IC and/or DoD and three
- years technical Space/Counterspace experience
- Bachelor’s degree; Additional years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Ability to develop and present to SSDP leadership decision quality briefings and papers
- Demonstrated problem solving/critical thinking in complex and dynamic environments
- Understanding of the IC, including roles and responsibilities across various IC organizations
- Familiarity with IC reporting, sources, dissemination mechanisms and tradecrafts
- Experience in collaborating with IC professionals and understanding if informal/formal IC t tasking mechanisms
- Experience working in classified, compartmented, and Special Access Program/Special Access Required environments is required
- Ability to meet with IC counterparts including travel
- Understanding of the outer space environment and operations as well as counterspace threats, especially pertaining to space-based weapons
- Experience with space/counterspace threats and capabilities in various orbital regimes desired
