Description
SAIC has an immediate need for Terminal Instrument Procedure Specialist (TERPS) to support Army Instrument Approach Procedures Branch.
NOTE : This is a 100% remote opportunity
Duties :
- Review and develop Army IAPs IAW Army, FAA, ICAO, and PANS-OPS standards.
- Review host nation IFPs for compliance with TERPS and PANS-OPS criteria.
- Support actions for IFPs and airfields, obstruction evaluations, and airspace actions.
- Evaluate and support the effect of proposed obstructions, altered or deactivated airports, NAVAID outages and revisions impacting IFPs, airspace, or facility concerns.
- Have expert knowledge to utilize programs such as AIS, GPD, ASPS, DTED, DVOF, and the DAFIF for evaluating and tracking various programs.
- Maintain NOTAMs for airfields and IFPs in support of U.S. Army requirements.
- Support USAASA to evaluate airfield engineering and operational criteria related to IFPs.
- Support coordination of requested airport data changes for Army IFPs.
