SAIC is seeking you, our latest Test Engineer Lead on our exciting Horizon Program to support to the US Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying novel command and control applications within the Program Executive Office's Battle Management Command, Control and Computers portfolio in Colorado Springs, Colorado. If you like working with customers to help them manage their critical mission test and evaluation program and leading working groups to get the job done, then this could be the job for you.
What will you do on the job? Check it out:
Manage the customer developmental test and evaluation program and collaborate on operational and, or integrated test and evaluation planning
Lead working groups and other teams on the formulation of test objectives, requirements and plan development
Provide DevSecOps test support to both factory and site development and acceptance testing
Provide interface test support of an application with enterprise/infrastructure and software interfaces with external systems
Provide test support to both developmental and operational test and evaluation events
Qualifications
This is you:
Bachelor's degree with 15 years of related experience
Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination
Experience with supporting and/or managing test programs throughout the engineering life cycle
Knowledge of Operational-level Command and Control systems and/or applications
Familiarity of Scaled Agile Framework and, or DevSecOps development processes
Knowledge of Developmental Test & Evaluation (or Integrated Test & Evaluation)
You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
Master's Degree in engineering, computer science, math or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., ITEA CTEP, INCOSE CSEP, SAFe, etc)
National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area
Test Experience implemented on a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline
Experience testing in a cloud environment
Experience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program offic
Test experience in the following areas:
Writing Automated Tests
Unit testing. Validates new features and functions added to the build.
Dynamic application security testing (DAST). Scans the build for security flaws, such as weak passwords or missing credentials.
Interactive application security testing (IAST). Analyzes traffic and execution flow to detect security issues, including those in third-party or open source components.
Regression testing. Verifies that changes or additions do not harm previous features.
Integration testing. Ensures the build operates with other applications or services.
User acceptance testing. Assesses whether users are able to use new features and functions as intended.
Performance testing. Ensures the build operates as required under load.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
