Description:
We are seeking a Lead Critical Facilities Technician to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will report to the Facility Manager and oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical and non-critical facility systems in a 24x7 mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technicians in performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical facility systems.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, generators, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control, and building management systems (BMS).
- Supervise and coordinate electrical operations, energy management programs, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with all change control processes, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, contracted, and general maintenance activities.
- Monitor critical system performance, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Manage third-party contractors, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical system failures, minimizing downtime and impact.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, logs, and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical critical facility operations (data centers, hospitals, manufacturing plants, or similar environments).
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a critical facilities or mission-critical environment.
- Electrical/mechanical certifications are strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire suppression, and BMS systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
- Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and be on-call for emergency response.
This role is ideal for an experienced technician ready to step into a leadership position, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our critical facility operations.
This role follows a rotating schedule:-
- Week 1: Work 5 days, then 2 days off
- Week 2: Work 2 days, then 5 days off
- This cycle repeats consistently.
Shift Details:
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Cycle Length: 3 months per shift
Shift Hours:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Mid Shift: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM
