Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital with 250-300 beds and a strong background in Revenue Cycle Management and expense control. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a Rock-solid leadership team focused on continuous improvement and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership and strategic direction to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency.
- Oversee Revenue Cycle Management, financial planning, budgeting, and expense control strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, medical staff, and department heads to drive financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal policies.
- Lead financial forecasting and risk management efforts.
- Work closely with Central Business Offices (CBOs) to enhance billing, collections, and reimbursement strategies.
- Develop and implement cost-control measures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and hospital growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- CFO experience in an acute care hospital setting is required (100-200 bed facility preferred).
- Strong background in billing, collections, and revenue cycle management.
- Working knowledge of CBOs and their financial impact.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with medical staff and hospital management.
- Proven strategic thinker with a track record of financial leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- Strong tenure and commitment to driving financial success in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA Certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in a 250-300 bed acute care hospital setting.
- Hands-on leadership style with a commitment to follow-through and execution.
