What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Care Center Supervisor position at SAIF CORPORATION?
SAIF is set to embark on a new era of customer service with the launch of our Customer Care Center (CCC). This center will align our valuable resources, empower CCC employees to respond to a broad array of questions from SAIF’s customers and business partners, and further our mission of providing unmatched personalized service to our customers.
We are seeking a supervisor to lead a team of CCC representatives, drive performance, and ensure customers receive excellent service. As our new supervisor, you will bring motivation and passion to your team. You’ll oversee daily operations, mentor team members, and meet performance goals. You’ll handle escalated customer concerns and collaborate with other departments to ensure the team delivers consistent, high-quality service.
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of leadership experience and five or more years of experience demonstrating knowledge of underwriting, workers’ compensation, or customer service. If you speak Spanish, that’s another plus. You’ll need strong communication, team development, and change management skills, along with an analytical, problem-solving mindset. You’ll also need your property and casualty license or the ability to obtain a license within 30 days of hire.

Recommended qualifications:
- Experience: Five or more years’ experience demonstrating knowledge of underwriting and customer service. One or more years of supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Active Oregon Property Casualty Insurance Producer License certification is required.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Completion of additional course work that leads to a chartered property casualty underwriter (CPCU) or comparable professional designation is preferred.
- Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered.
