Description
Saiful Bouquet is an internationally recognized, award-winning structural engineering firm, with multiple offices in Southern California. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join us in our new headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles, located on the 37th Floor of 725 S. Figueroa Street. Applicant would be involved with all aspects of the structural engineering design of a wide variety of project types, serving our clients and working directly with the Project Managers and Principals in a dynamic office environment. Must be a good communicator and team player, with strong technical skills and leadership potential. Significant opportunity for growth and opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects including large, complex structures in many market sectors.
Requirements
• 7 to 10 years of building design experience with strong leadership potential
• Must have experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types, with emphasis on larger steel and concrete structures in multiple market sectors
• SE license a plus
• Experience with DSA & OSHPD a plus
• Experience with seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41 a plus
•Master’s degree from a US university in structural engineering required
• Strong communication and people skills, and team players required
