About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in Substation and Transformer Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) , effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining electrical systems that power our client’s automated machines and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Substation & Transformer Engineering – Improve power efficiency and reliability, focusing on high-voltage to medium-voltage systems.
- Power Distribution – Conduct load calculations for 480VAC systems to ensure proper distribution.
- Safety & Compliance – Apply a basic understanding of Arc Flash ratings and calculations to maintain industry safety standards.
- Electrical Design – Create wiring diagrams , circuit breaker configurations , and other essential electrical components.
- Control Systems Support – Provide Allen Bradley control system hardware architecture knowledge for obsolescence upgrades.
- AutoCAD Modifications – Update existing AutoCAD prints and create new designs as needed.
- Technical Documentation – Read and interpret electrical drawings accurately.
