Director of IT
As the Director of IT, you will lead and oversee the operation and performance of the Information Technology department.
Objectives include :
- Develop strategy and ensure efficient execution in the IT department to make sure it is supporting the needs of the organization in a responsive, well-communicated, and secure manner.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard data, systems, and client information. Any of the following credentials are beneficial : CISSP, CompTIA Security , CCSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC.
- Oversee the workload of the team including delegation of tasks, projects, etc. and ensure successful execution.
- Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and processes to determine organizational effectiveness and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance growth and improvement.
- Support and lead ERP and data integration of future business acquisitions.
- Facilitate development plans and provide quality assessments of overall work performed by the team.
- Provide guidance and training to others through mentoring and leadership.
- Set and monitor department budget, including financial forecasting.
- Regulatory and Compliance : Identify and implement the necessary certifications to meet compliance and client requirements.
- Oversee the company’s internal operational systems to ensure they are aligned with organizational needs.
- Serve as a leadership role model, fostering a culture of technical excellence and establishing standards for proficiency across the technical teams.
- Utilize, support, and enhance standards and best practices.
- Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by the company and clients.
What we are looking for :
Successful candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology and be a proven leader. A combination of industry experience, operational excellence, and related degrees will be considered.
