Structural Project Manager
Job Overview : Our Louisville client, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Structural Engineering Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, solutions-driven individual to oversee and manage a variety of structural engineering projects across public and private sectors, including government, utilities, healthcare, education, and more. In this role you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with established engineering standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, working closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to drive project success.
This is a Direct Hire role.
What you will be doing as a Structural Project Manager...
- Project Management : Oversee and manage multiple structural engineering projects, including planning, design, coordination, and construction phase services. Ensure successful delivery of all projects, maintaining high standards for quality, budget, and schedule.
- Design & Analysis : Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with industry standards and building codes. Provide engineering solutions that are both cost-effective and technically sound.
- Leadership : Lead project teams by providing guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of the project. Foster a collaborative work environment and mentor junior engineers to help them grow professionally.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (including clients, architects, and contractors) to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables. Resolve project issues and ensure alignment across all parties.
- Scheduling & Budgeting : Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and budgets. Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet deadlines and minimize costs.
- Quality Control & Risk Management : Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with design requirements. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Construction Support : Provide ongoing construction support, including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), reviewing submittals, conducting site visits, and managing design revisions or changes.
- Client Relations : Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project.
