We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of the restaurant and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist with guest services, including addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Utilize the Aloha POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest flow.
- Support food service operations during peak hours as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
