Job Description
Saiia Construction is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, scheduling, and reporting, as well as experience with Primavera P6 software.
About the Role
The Project Scheduler II will be responsible for exercising qualified level of planning, scheduling, and reporting proficiency. Key responsibilities include schedule monitoring, control measures, analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the project management team to identify and resolve schedule deviations and trends.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project schedules throughout the lifecycle of projects
* Analyze scheduling change impact and perform what-if analysis
* Exercise independent and professional judgment in solving problems and coordinating issues
* Adapt schedules to meet various project delivery methods or requirements
* Convert schedule information created in Microsoft Projects or other software to Primavera P6 when necessary
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years previous experience using P6 in project scheduling
* Proficiency with MS Project, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Knowledge of mass grading and earthwork, stormwater management, underground utilities, erosion control, CCR project items, landfill project items, and utility infrastructure requirements
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schedules, and project specifications
