Job Overview
The Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for writing content across all mediums and tactics, as well as planning and executing marketing communication via various tools and platforms.
In this role you will organize, plan, write, and execute useful consumer-facing content that follows brand strategy and guidelines. The position works closely with all members of the Marketing team on Brand, CRM and Social content while also interacting interdepartmentally to provide content as needed for Customer Support, PR, Design and Development.
Our ideal Marketing Content Specialist knows how to write differently on different platforms while maintaining a brand voice. This person works great in a team environment, is capable of handling multiple projects at once, and adapts well to change and high-pressure deadlines. This person must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, a positive attitude, as well as stellar organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities and DutiesHubSpot
- Build and troubleshoot HubSpot workflows and sequences.
- Create dashboards in HubSpot
- Execute all email marketing via HubSpot CRM.
- Convey HubSpot functionality and questions to staff.
- Data mine contact information using Zoominfo or similar.
- Learn Bridge, our mapping software, as a non-ArcGis user to view and download dsata, primarily addresses.
- Clean address files for direct mail.
- Understand Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media best practices. Support agency with assets.
- Build LinkedIn ad campaigns
- Execute LinkedIn organic posts.
- Will become Referral Program manager combining data with marketing messaging.
- Will need to upload videos and manage settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of marketing-related technology experience.
- CMS experience. HubSpot experience is strongly preferred.
- Google Suite and Excel proficiency are required.
- Strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated and takes the initiative with attention to detail.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing Communications, or related field.
- Experience writing for digital marketing or web.
