Job Title: Valet Attendant

Position Summary:
The Valet’s responsibilities include greet guests, helping to unload luggage if required, parking cars carefully and returning vehicles quickly when members and guests are ready to leave. To be successful as a Valet, you must have the stamina to stand for extended periods of time while remaining vibrant, friendly, and providing exceptional customer service. The Valet Attendant is the first point of contact with members and guests so they must make a good first impression. Works under the direction of the Lead Valet and the Food & Beverage Management Team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests; assist them in and out of automobiles
- Manage the valet podium
- Parks cars safely
- Retrieves cars for members and guests in a timely manner
- Ensures that parked cars are locked and that keys are stored safely
- Directs members and guests to their desired location
- Prevents unauthorized people from entrance to the club
- Maintains clean and safe entrances and parking lots
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds and run on occasion
Education/Training/Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid Drivers’ License required
- No prior traffic offenses
Working Conditions:
This position is primarily an in outdoor environment. Must have the mobility to move freely about the club and all POA property. Must have flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach overhead. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to run to and from the parking lot. Must have a neat and groomed appearance.
