Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education to patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Monitor and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
