Job Title: Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Assistant
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (5 days)
Summary and Purpose:
This role reports directly to the SAHS Manager, Pharmacy Clinical Services. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program across both inpatient and ambulatory areas of the health system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop programs and consult with multidisciplinary teams to improve antibiotic stewardship.
- Prepare and present educational content to residents and other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with department, hospital, medical group, and medical staff to review, identify, and implement medication use processes that meet Joint Commission, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree required.
- Licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho and Oregon State Boards of Pharmacy.
- Prior experience in implementing inpatient and ambulatory care stewardship programs preferred.
