Summary:
We are seeking two temporary Clinical Lab Technicians to work in the laboratory service areas for approximately eight months.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform technical and non-technical tasks, including Moderate and High complexity laboratory tests, quality control reviews, and competency assessments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related Health Science field.
Essential Functions:
Meet Trinity Health's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards, ensuring excellent interpersonal communication and professional conduct.
Operate, calibrate, and perform minor troubleshooting on laboratory instruments and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
Process data, verify accuracy, and enter data in the laboratory computer system in a timely manner.
Assist with workload, recognize critical patient results, and follow defined processes for reporting them.
Evaluate QC results, respond to technical questions, and train new employees in procedures and policies.
