What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department RN Full Time Nights Shift position at Saint Alphonsus Health System?
Full-Time positions are eligible for consideration of a $10,000 sign on bonus and relocation assistance! We also offer competitive wages, on-call pay, and shift differentials depending on work schedules.
Our Ontario Emergency Department has 15 beds to serve a diverse rural community of all ages. We partner with local EMS (ground and air) to ensure a smooth transition for the most critical patients who are admitted or transferred across our health system. We utilize an RN-driven primary nursing patient care model, which emphasizes teamwork. Our patients receive exceptional care in a community hospital with a small town feel.
Our ideal candidates will have prior experience working in a fast-paced emergency department. In addition, they will have some experience taking care of critical patients and will be able to utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to prioritize patient needs. They will have a desire to take care of all types of patients and will want to be part of a team.

Prefer 1 or more years of RN experience in an emergency setting
Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse at hire
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho (required within six months of hire)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire
TNCC certification required within one year of hire
