- Support a new Nurse Practitioner in providing exceptional patient care.
- Work with a dedicated team of oncologists, surgeons, and support staff to deliver comprehensive cancer care.
- Partner with patients and families to provide seamless care and support throughout their treatment journey.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and precision radiation therapies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care with the clinical team, including chart prep, vitals, medication review, and procedure setup.
- Manage electronic medical records, scheduling appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- MA certification from an approved agency (e.g., American Association of Medical Assistants) within 90 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network required at hire.
- 1 year of MA experience or current certification; ability to obtain certification within 90 days.
