What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor Patient Registration (Baker City) position at Saint Alphonsus Health System?
Our Baker City team is looking for a motivated, dynamic Supervisor to join the team and lead the Patient Registration department!
In this role, you will oversee all daily functions of the department. You will provide direction for the people, processes, structures, and programs that are used to support patient care. You will collect and analyze data and measures to achieve desired outcomes of department, and act alignment with the mission and values of the organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITIES:
Responsible for the daily operations & the oversight of staff.
Supervisors work in collaboration with department managers to manage staff & department effectively.
Participates in & contributes to the performance management/review process.
Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable leaders.
May participate & recommend in the hiring & selection process.
Responds promptly & directly to meet or exceed customers’ needs.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role
Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience working in a Pre-service or Patient Access operations.
Obtain National certification in HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA & / or NAHAM CHAM required within one (1) year of hire.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Associate degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Patient accounting experience preferred
