What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice position at Saint Alphonsus?
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is a multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our team in a rural family practice setting, with OB requirements.
We are located in Fruitland Health Plaza, serving Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. Our services include family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, and orthopedic services, with on-site lab and x-ray facilities.
The ideal candidate will be committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and have experience in obstetrics. Deliveries will take place at our regional medical center in Ontario, Oregon, and the opportunity to work in the newborn nursery and inpatient pediatrics is available.

We serve a population of 70,000 people within a 20-mile radius, with access to Interstate 84 and Oregon Highways 20/26, 30, and 201. The area offers a scenic, rural setting and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Our location is one hour from Boise, Idaho, with daily flights available from the Boise Airport (BOI). A local general aviation airport also provides charter service and other Fixed Base Operator services.
Requirements
A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program;
Board certification, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
Obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.
The successful candidate will have a strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group, with privileges at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Ontario.
