Responsibilities
The Internal Medicine physician will:
- Provide patient care in a traditional clinic setting, M-F; no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time.
- Participate in phone-only call coverage with excellent triage service support.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base in adult health issues.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must:
- Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Have completed an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
- Be board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases.
- Hold a valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.
