Job Overview:

The Admission Associate supports the daily operations of the admission and enrollment office to ensure a smooth process, from inquiry through enrollment, for both internal and external audiences. Responsibilities include managing the application process by providing excellent customer service to inquiring families, uploading required application documents, and following up on any missing documents to expedite the application review. The Admission Associate will coordinate the school’s admission events, including campus visits, shadow visits and assessments, Open Houses, Ice Cream Social, and the New Student and Parent Orientation. Additional duties include scheduling parent conferences, finalizing and assembling admission packets, maintaining marketing print and promotional materials, and supporting the re-enrollment process. The Admission Associate will represent the school at various recruiting events as needed and effectively communicate the value of a Saint Andrew’s education.

Job Type: Non-exempt, Full-time, Hourly

Responsibilities and Duties: these are not written to be all inclusive and not limited to

  • Manage preparation and set-up for all admission events (campus visits, open houses, shadow visits, parent conferences, assessment days, re-visit, and new family events), including ordering supplies, decor, refreshments, coordinating with facilities, and printing check-in lists and name tags.
  • Coordinate Parent Ambassador and Student Ambassador Program Kick-Off meetings and thank you events. Plan Fall and Spring Faculty Fall engagement and Spring thank you events.
  • Maintained admission marketing inventory, including print materials and promotional items. Work with the Marketing team to re-order or develop new promotional items as needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current families in person, on the telephone, and via digital communication throughout the entire process, including the inquiry application, admission, and enrollment processes.
  • Assist with inputting and exporting data into the admission database, including entry and tracking of inquiries, applications, supporting documents, and decisions within our application management system.
  • Lead campus tours for prospective students and families.
  • Work with the admission team to support the parent and student ambassador program, including recruitment, selection, and training of parent and student tour guides.
  • Represent the school at various recruitment events; speak publicly to individuals and groups on and off campus about the value of a Saint Andrew’s education, the experience, and the admission and Flexible Tuition process.
  • Work with the admission team and marketing team to develop the content for both print and digital marketing communications to advance the school.
  • Assist with preparing and compiling data for snapshots, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Other related duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required
  • 1 years’ experience in a school environment preferred
  • Admission, event management, recruiting, office management experience preferred
  • Experience working with diverse communities preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the USA; we are unable to provide sponsorship
  • Pass background check and provide negative TB test
  • Current Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid & CPR certifications or able to attain within the first 3 months of employment

Equipment / Materials:

  • Apple/Mac and iOS environment with laptop and similar devices, and accessories?
  • Google Suite cloud applications
  • Integration of technology into classroom, presentation electronics, software, and accessories
  • Operate standard office equipment including copier, postage machine, laminator?

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, sitting, squatting, reaching, and kneeling.?
  • Climb stairs and navigate sloping terrain
  • Ability to move equipment/boxes and ability to lift up to 25lbs.?

Work Environment:

  • Navigate 10 acres of land with multi surfaces, multi-level with transitions
  • Surfaces including wood, linoleum, grass, concrete, dirt, gravel.?
  • Sustain loud noises for a minimum of 50% of time depending on activities?
  • Sustain indoor artificial lighting for 80% of time or higher depending on activities, backlit monitors
  • Able to handle outdoor weather including bright sun to rain, and temperature from cold to hot
